I think most of us, no matter how long we’ve walked with the Lord, can recall periods of time when we questioned God’s presence. Circumstances sometimes challenge our faith. Ill treatment from fellow believers can tempt us to distance ourselves from Christians, and therefore from God. But something—or rather Someone—always draws us back. God’s love is unconditional (He doesn’t write us off because we temporarily stepped away). God’s love is never-ending (it continues even when we are unfaithful). There is nothing that reaches deeper than God’s love. When our faith falters, He will revive us with His loyal love. All we have to do is look up and stretch out a hand, and He always always always takes hold and draws us near again.
