None of us traverse life without missteps. Some missteps are bigger and create more consequences than others, but all missteps can haunt us, taunt us, and riddle us with regret. When those angst-filled moments arise, we must remember grace. God’s grace forgives us when we repent. God’s grace gives us a fresh slate. Remembering past mistakes so we don’t repeat them is productive; wallowing in something we cannot change drags us down. We must let go of those things that can’t be undone and set our sights on better choices ahead. Then we’ll experience fewer missteps, fewer regrets, and produce greater glory for our King.
