This statement makes me weep. How could these people who followed Him and listened to His words and witnessed His miracles not believe? The Truth stood right in front of them! And today, how can people deny His power to pardon and redeem? The truth would set them free if they’d only believe! The more people resist Him, the more hardened their hearts become and the less likely it is for them to find understanding. How I pray for the lost—for their eyes to see and their ears to hear, for understanding to dawn in their hearts that lead them to receive His gift of salvation. It’s His will that none should perish. Work Your will, dear Father.
