There’s a great deal of unrest around the world. Some might wonder why a God of power allows evil to run rampant. I can think of two reasons: 1) He gives us free will—He doesn’t pull our “strings” and force us to follow Him; and 2) He works in mysterious ways. How many people have come to faith when a trial or great hardship convinced them they needed a Savior? Sometimes it takes ugliness happening around for us to lose our complacency and truly seek His face. He wants to show up, and He will—in the way He deems best.
