The longer I walk with the LORD, the more I realize the truth of this scripture. When we love God and are dedicated to His purpose, there is NOTHING we face that is wasted in His kingdom. My biggest childhood hurts are woven into my adult ministries. The hardships and heartaches of life have strengthened my bond with the One who is always there for me and has built an empathy for others facing similar conflicts. When we say, “God, take my heart and make it Yours,” we are opening ourselves up for abundant blessing, and sometimes those blessings come in the way of storms that serve an eternal purpose, either for us or for someone witnessing how we handle the storm. Never let a trial plant seeds of doubt about how much you’re loved. He is innately good, and He makes good plans for His children.
