Speaking and acting covers our interactions with others. We are free to behave however we please. We are free to say whatever we want to. But we will be judged for the things we do and say—most especially those things that grieve the Lord. As His children, we are to follow the Spirit’s guidance. We are to incorporate the Word into every aspect of our living. We won’t be judged by the world’s law. It is as changing as the tides, and often things that are legal aren’t morally right or spiritually beneficial. It’s our responsibility to choose His pathway rather than the world’s/our own; to glorify Him in the way we live rather than pleasing self. Freedom in Christ comes with accountability here on earth and the incredible gift of being in His presence for all eternity.
