There is no greater “pure milk” than God’s Word. His Word contains the breath of Life! If we aren’t consistently in the Word, we’re doing ourselves a great injustice. Salvation comes when we confess we are sinners in need of grace and ask Jesus to forgive our sins, but it doesn’t end there. Salvation in its fullest sense is life-long growth that makes us more like Jesus every day. If we’ve truly tasted the goodness of the Lord, we’ll desire to be nourished by the pure Word of the Lord. Those times when we feel empty and lost, we’re likely hungry—hungry to be fed by the One who saved us. So dive in! Feast on the pure milk! Be filled and grow in faith! Experience the deepest joy of new life in Christ.
