Jesus is my Savior. He redeemed me, healed me, and made me whole. Over the course of my life, I have learned from the Bible, from my parents, from leaders in the church what is expected of me as a child of God. It’s my responsibility to hold to those teachings, not only in my head but in my heart. Not only as lip service but as deliberate action. I must be intentional in not letting the world and its ways sway me from what I know is right, just, and pure. Hold means to grasp and cling to. I choose to grasp the Truth of His Word and cling to the One who will never lead me astray.
