I love these verses from Colossians 2:13-14—”When you were dead in your sins…, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross.” Tears well and roll as I think about what He did for me. He paid my debt! He set me free! I bear no stain of sin because Jesus’ blood washed me clean! Does that truth make your soul rejoice and your heart settle with peace? Jesus’ victory at the cross means those who place their trust in Him are victors, too, over sin and death. Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, O my soul!

He is with me
