Salvation for the lost

God sent Jesus first to the Jews, who—for the most part—knew Him not. Then God gave the message to the Gentiles. These non-Jewish people developed an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ and became adopted children into God’s family. That should have made the non-believing Jews jealous! I have a sweet friend who recently moved, and her new neighbors are Jewish. She said they are wonderful people, but her heart aches for them because they don’t recognize the Messiah sent to save them from their sin. My friend is such a lovely, genuine Christian, I know she will live an example of faithfulness in front of them. And I pray the truth of her relationship with Jesus will prove who He is to this family and they, too, will come to a relationship with the One who died for them.

So many are lost… So many need our Lord… I’ll ask again: Are you praying salvation for those who have not yet come to believe?
