It’s been awhile since we were in James! But I’m picking up where we left off three weeks ago. James is a fairly short book, but it has so much wisdom. I know we’ve seen other scripture that support the “don’t just talk the talk, walk the walk” idea. This one fits well with that concept. But this also gives us a positive consequence for putting our faith into practice: our faith becomes perfected. The more we practice our faith, the more natural it becomes to react in kindness, in obedience, in patience. Granted, we’ll never be perfect as long as we’re trapped in human skin, but we can be consistently better and more faithful, and that’s a worthy goal.
