The lover of evil does his best to convince us that we aren’t saved, that we’re still mired in sin, that there is no assurance of grace, etc. The antidote to any of satan’s darts is God’s Word. God tells us all who call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved, and He will never forsake us; our sin is cast away as far as the east is from the west; that God’s grace erases all sin. I would rather believe the One who laid down His life so I that might be raised up than the one who tries to drag me down. If the devil is whispering deceptions in your ear, open the Bible. Satan cannot stand against the power of God’s Word.
