Paul instructed the believers in Philippi to stand firm in the Lord. He didn’t tell them to “hang in there.” He didn’t ask them to send “good vibes.” He didn’t offer a wishy-washy “Well, I hope so…” No, he said to stand firm. Standing firm depicts confidence in Him. It means holding tight to His Truth, which is the only Truth that matters because it does not waver and shift like the “belief systems” of this world. Do you want to experience lasting peace in this ever-changing world? Then STAND FIRM in the LORD.
