Temptation abounds. It’s a given, because I live in a sin-fallen world. But I don’t have to yield to temptation. I can rely on the Holy Spirit to give me the strength to do God-honoring things instead of self-indulgent things. I also must watch that I don’t inadvertently tempt others to sin either by encouraging them to indulge themselves or by setting an inappropriate example. I don’t want to experience woe or bring woe on someone else.
