Jesus asked His disciples, “For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul?” It’s a good question. Nothing of this world will ever fill me the way Jesus can. And in the end, I will answer for whatever I seek to “fill” myself with. When people ask, “How can God do this to me?”, a better question might be, “How could I have let myself choose something so far from God’s will for me?” Whatever I choose, I will reap what *I* sow. It’s my choice. For Him…or against Him?
